Baxter Springs Heritage Center & Museum
The Baxter Springs Heritage Center & Museum, under the direction of the Baxter Springs Historical Society, is a one-of-a-kind museum, located in Baxter Springs, Kansas. Just off historic Route 66, our 23,000 square foot facility allows us to interpret regional history from all time periods, including American Indian, African American, military and war, domestic life, mining, Route 66, as well as multiple others. Come by and discover for yourself the amazingly rich, layered history of this region.
